Last September, renowned Scottish comedian heavyweight Daniel Sloss debuted not one but two new specials on Netflix, in a move that had only been done at the time by the likes of Dave Chapelle. While most of Americans may have been unfamiliar with Sloss at the time, that would all change after that special. He began blowing up, clips from his video went viral in the U.S. to the point where they generated memes.
Now Daniel Sloss is back in the U.S. with his 10th (!) stand up show entitled X, which will debut on HBO on November 2nd at 10 P.M. EST/PT.
For the past 10 years now, Sloss has become a massive mainstay at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, generating a new show every year. He’s performed this latest show, X, alone over 300 times in 40 different countries. All of this and he’s only 29 years old.
Not much has been mentioned about his new special, but it’s safe to say it will be him doing what he does best, displaying his twisted, razor sharp wit and incredible ability to weave together a story. Our interview we did with Daniel last year can help showcase the sort of humor that Daniel is all about.
Daniel Sloss: X will be executive produced by Sloss and Marlene Zwickler with Sloss also serving as director.
