This week on TV: there’s more than one holiday happening this week

This weekend is Easter Sunday and many people will be hosting holy celebrations this week. But there’s another holiday that’s important to others and that comes a day before Easter and it’s 4/20. The commonly accepted day for pot smokers all over the world to celebrate. While it’s not an official holiday by any means, many like to celebrate and over at MTV, they’re leaning into it hard by showing a weekend full of stoner humor comedies like the entire Friday series starring Ice Cube, Chris Tucker, and Mike Epps. Then they’re going to top it off with a screening of the 90s college stoner comedy How High starring Method Man and Redman. Culminating with the TV movie How High 2, the decade+ followup to said movie starring Lil Yachty and DC Young Fly in the title roles and comedians DeRay Davis and Mike Epps also starring.
